One other thing to point out, 69M votes as the threshold is more votes than 8 of the 10 most recent meme cards
-
yea we're keeping it the same threshold as with the 6529 network museum wave as suggested by 6529 himself
-
-
I wonder if people know that waves have independent TDH votes. For example when I see someone with several million TDH vote a few hundred thousand on one Pepe, but not vote on others, I wonder what's driving that.
-
it is a challenge but i think we can get there. let's keep on getting folks to be more aware about OG pepes!
-
-
gm🌼
-
will be working towards this but will appreciate anyone else who can make efforts on this
-
for now i think we'll need some more education to the rest of the folk on rare pepes to get them to care about this
-
will discuss with team to see if we should recreate a new one
-
update on this: we're gonna keep with this for now and review in another couple weeks
-
-
seems like it's one of those modifiers that can't be changed after a wave is created :slightly_frowning_face:
-
lemme see if i can adjust it now
-
Think the wave is setup so you can’t max TDH vote each card which is wrong
-
yea it might be better to to adjust to get more proposals through

Feels like this would benefit from some thoughtful curation. Do we have a resident Rare Pepe expert who could recommend a slate of cards?
-
Yeah great idea
-
bats has a good amount of knowledge in rare pepes. i have a little bit too. wrote a thread about collecting pepes some time ago: https://x.com/DarrenSRS/status/1509737992902291459?s=20

Enjoyable read. Thank you!

gm One of my favorites, but not rare with a supply of almost 100k.

Now you’d better go back and read my REP section carefully so you can get to know me a little better in 6529 @[Soliiiart]
-
Ok, thanks for your recommendation 🙏🏻 And I’m happy you got the chance to show yourself off at this point.
-
I genuinely feel sorry for you. I already deleted the post and you know I’ve got nothing to prove myself. But you go ahead, keep talking like that so everyone else can see who they’re dealing with
-
I wish you hadn’t deleted the post so everyone else could’ve seen what happened. I’ve always tried to be myself, and I know I’ve already proven who I am to many people. They know exactly what kind of person they’re dealing with. Anyway, I genuinely wish you success too
-
I already told you in my previous post that you could check my REP and see what I’ve done in 6529, I said it again because you really seem to be arguing with yourself

But I still think some really great cards have been suggested so far
-
A lot of the cards I liked were way too expensive and didn’t fit our budget
-
Before dropping each of these Meme Cards here, I checked their prices, and pretty much all of them are still affordable
-
I think these pieces will retain their historical significance and intrinsic value over time
-
I’ll drop a few Rare Pepe recommendations
-
Okay

Why are you shilling everywhere? Do you even read what this Wave is for?
-
It’s non of your business for sure ! But for the sake of others especially Daren , who’s an admin here and a good friend of mine . I want to clarify: this isn’t an shill. It’s just Pepe that was already part of the font! and related to the wave subject If I were you, I’d try focusing on my own work. Maybe after all these years, you might finally achieve a little bit of success.
-
Wtf 😂 I wish they had at least taught you some basic respect. This Wave is specifically for the Memecard whose funds will be used to acquire pieces from the 2016–2018 Rare Pepes collection, not just any Pepe

By the way, for El Memeño, the type of submission is open. If you have a song, video, story, or anything else to submit as your El Niño meme, give it a shot!
-
oh man Bill Nye the Science Guy sang the El Niño song! I called up Baba Brinkman, a rapper and he recruited his opera-singing 12 year old nephew to co-create this
-
Have a great day all

note to other people submitting proposals, the handy image on the right in the wave feed only shows up if you include the OpenSea link. The image you upload only shows in the "Read full" @[GelatoGenesis]. Thanks @[DarrenSRS] for making a nice template to copy.
