but there are like 30 people who are super into it
and for whatever reason, everyone else is like ok, cool bro, but not super duper into it
a group of you led by fearless desert warlord @[maybe] decide you want to make a collection of i dunno limnal spaces in the southeast
let's think through an example
4/ I think the alignment point was under-thought through. people who contribute to a collection should have special rights in that collection. in other words, TDH should not be the only metric used
well our whole reason for being is to make a permissionless censorship resistance composable social layer running on crypto so "on chain curation notes" are better in the same way that on-chain JPGs are better than non onchain JPGs
which is better
whereas if we call it 6529 Network Museum then each group becomes a collection
in other words, if we have 6529 Collection then each group becomes a sub-collection which is OK but not great
Also it improves the branding of the component parts
cc @[6529er] - was going to tell you this today but never got around to it :)
the word network needs to be in the main branding I think
and for better or worse 6529 museum has a brand that I need to figure out what to do with but in any case that is not today's problem
lots of people have a collection of NFTs
the interesting idea is not "we have a collection of NFTs"
3/ I think we should not call it 6529 collection; we should call it 6529 Network Museum since that is what we are doing
we can display it on our website or as a PDF but it needs to live on-chain for all the regular reasons
or "a PDF"
like it should not be "a page on our website"
2/ we are going to do the curational analysis - "where are we going to put it?" -> I think it should be on-chain somewhere - maybe it should go on the same contract as #1 as an additional field or NFT
"latter"
1/ how do we find stuff on-chain - for example - when we do meme card accessions should we buy already minted cards, or should we mint them on a common contract to improve discoverability - my gut says "later"
on two topics
I thought the decentralized museum idea needed one more turn of the crank
@[maybe] hit me in 1 minute let me get out my thoughts
something about water
or swimming
(yes, many good ideas come in the shower - the cliche is real)
but I had further shower thoughts
I was going to launch yesterday
@[simo] I think is basically there on the wave for the $100K challenge
@[6529er] has a card ready for the photography
update
gmeme
great!
good; we got to hustle
later this week
i will be back!
but we love to see it
good job @[maybe] on the app; i am still going to give mine a shot bc I have some ideas how it should work i wan tto try
is good!!!
ah good idea @[GhostPepper] @[simo]
i agree that we need to make this workable for all price poitns
great, can I see it? I still may build "mine" regardless ;)
anyone have any good ideas about how we can group-maintain a list? I think we can't but checking - this is hopelessly out of date
12/ someone asked "wen nodes" and I am not committing to 'wen' yet but we are getting to the point where the AI models are mature enough to really help; this is close to final boss degree of difficulty in programming; soon I think the models will be a real help
great on all!
i designed some of these systems and even i forgot how they work
yes it is not good
