I know that most people's reaction is "no, people will not do that because they will prefer to own it and keep the economic and cultural value for themselves"

so to get back on track
- meme card accession program is clear to me and it will work
- other accession program: what does that look like - is there a model that incents someone to purchase alone or more likely collectively works for the network museum as opposed to themselves - what would have to be true for this to be true
you are going on tangents
pls go read the thread
dude, come. if you own the mona lisa, the value is "you own the mona lisa" not that you also bought a $100 clone of it
your valued contributions will be more valuable if you read the thread instead of just saying random words into it
see: all the art and photography DAOs
without any exceptions whatsoever
btw, all those people in 3-5 years will get bored of holding it and then will sell it
yes but this is not the problem i am trying to solve. people can get together to buy a 1/1 together without the 6529 network museum
and was like "oh this is not going to work"
and immediately felt: "absolutely nothing"
when I bought like some $ape
i know this in 2021
instead
do not want stupid fungible tokens
because people who want to own nfts
obviously this never works
fractionalization is dropping an erc-20 token
anyway my example was not fractionalization - it was a group buy
it is the example i wrote of "this won't work"
fractionalization is the case above - ten people own it and then sell it
so they are going to look cringe
i mean dmitri won't mind but they also won't be dmitri editions
ofc
i dont think we have the right ot make goose editions
if 100 of us get together to buy the goose for the museum
i odn't think it can be a straight edition of the underlying art as a general principle
just one ser
and the interesting question is "what is that shaped like"
similar concept to the meme card accession program
1/10
the most obvious idea is that they get each a special network museum collection NFT
what can we do
and so the idea that it was ever in the network museum is just imaginary
so if I want to keep the constraint that "we can't sell the foot pic and distribute the gains to the 10 people" because obviously in that case they just owned the foot pic
in fact they are arguably gaining
so the collector is not losing anything
is effectively "donating" their share to the other artists
and the reason meme cards work is the meme card proposer
obviously meme cards work because you get a meme card
i think neither of these two are going to work
2/ we spend $1M that we now no longer have, the rest of you give us a few likes on twitter and "thanks for the foot pics" and our children in 20 years when the foot pics are worth $50M are like WTF
1/ we but it but it is a collective ownership of it and we can sell it later when arsonic food paintings are next to rothkos and we will make $10M
ok that is perfectly fine but then it is just 10 people who own an arsonic 1/1 - this is not the network museum
so let's talk about the two extremes that probably don't work
10 of us want to buy a $1M @[arsonic] grail anime foot painting for the Network Museum
let's work through this harder example
for example
into areas where we are not yet mature enough for this but it is useful to ask what would be mature enough and to work through it
now I am pushing into my unknown zone
