i am saying let's say you mint the gpebbles collection at the network museum

that is different, that is just a donation

if I am not willing to do it yet

bc I think it just won't happen

you don't ask people to give up what may be a material part of their net worth for the network

donating an NFT here or there

buy selling or swapping or whatever a NFT here or there

i think this also lets people progressively decentralize (or network-ize) their collection over years or decades

i think it would depend on what a majority of those 1000 holders want to do

I would not give up (at least today) 100%

I would give up 5% of the value of all my collected pieces to align it with the network

and scale fast

i think something like this can work

and so the truly 'owned by nobody' and 'owned by everybody' network museum has: 1/ the meme card funded art 2/ or stream or nextgen or whatever in any cases where everyone agrees upfront that we are going to use that money to buy for the network museum 3/ actual donations (as with @[maybe] and @[gpebbles] I will donate something - i am donating $100K for example, but not fully mentally there to donate $30M or whatever) 4/ 5% (or whatever the right number is) of each collection "aligned" or whatever the right word is eg BatSoupYum

but also maybe i have done the same thing with my collection

and I think I might want to buy one

I think he would sell me one

and he had a sick collection

now let's say I have always thought bats was a great guy

and I think those NFTs have to be able to authorize actions in his safe like transfer sell etc

has 950 NFTs and 50 in the museum

so now he has network museum branding outreach, tooling etc

and maybe in order to be aligned with the network museum, i dunno 5% of them on day 1 go into the network museum as well (again for argument's sake; don't flame me on the specifics, just trying to work out a shape)

but we can hold that thought for a second

i think they need to be NFTs not fungible coins fwiw

and that control the locks to his safe

that represent his collection

bats does some act with his collection (aligns with the network museum) -> his NFTs go into a special contract and he gets for argument's sake 1,000 NFTs on day one

and noting it is still half-baked

like let's say again sticking with an example

not by committee

i think this has to be solved by markets

that we will have paid (too much)/(not enough) for bats collection

i mean

unhappy

everyone will be happy

it is going to be a nightmare
