this is why I am not talking about it

maybe GPT-5-pro can deliver
i tried
it is not quite good enough to do the job
i know an LLM
when someone finds the succint description, please inform me so I can read it and copy it lol
yea, there are a lot of people out there begging for a succinct description of wtf is going on here
and appendix that is math and computer science etc
i want to achieve "10 pages that are in plain English"
bc otherwise nobody will read it
this is what I want to do
yup
me, sighing again about how I am supposed to write the white paper in 10-15 pages
yeah it is better
but more elegant
confusing to people
a bit more elegant, a bit more confusion
!math

nothing in this discussion is going to have any material effect on a new minter
But we want to avoid having og whales take that incentive away
it was on purpose
well that is not a happy coincidence!
it has always been very easy to accumulate the enough TDH with the prior season to get AL spots in the current; it was never where only OGs that have been around for years got all the spots
i dunno if confusing
but more !math
5%, 4.9%, 4.4% etc
what do you envision this looking like
you never start
if we put you behind a massive gate
exactly
I got a lot of TDH in szn 11 and got to mint a cool ACK nft in szn 12
benefit more by getting more people in obviously
the OGs/whales
yes that is what i think too
I think the boost does need to cap. I actually like this personally. From a collector, buyer/seller behavior that i've witnessed, having a reason for new collectors to want newer sets is actually good. those are the ones we want to continue having mint demand, and buy demand as they do not have as much accumulated TDH on them. This is not that important for those of us that never really plan to sell any cards, but for the group that may want to buy/sell/trade a card, it is better i think.
or it could be
might be better
not hard drop-off
now we could make it exponentially smoothed
is to give new minters a leg up to get somewhere with TDH
just do the obvious ones!
too giga brained for me to think of things outside of the obvious things?
is to give new minters a leg up to get somewhere with TDH
idea behind giving a temp boost to the new sets
every set becomes a >1 year old set
and eventually
it is going to have to drop at some point
unless we want boost to grow indefinitely
So i guess the question is, does dropping the season set bonus on seasons > 1 year old discourage people from collecting those seasons?
sorry 0.75, not 0.80
Or the remaining 0.75 i guess
there can't be collector specific changes otherwise you open up gaming again
1st and last 4 in chrono are 0.05 and then the rest split up the remaining 0.80
it has to do with how many exist
it has nothing to do with how many you have collected
I don't think the fact that I know the boost will drop off some in a year effect me from collecting new seasons, so it seems fine. but also. if you have collected < 20 seasons doesn't that mean the set bonus for each stays at .05 until you are greater than 20 seasons?
and obviously a cost
no benefit to splitting
So when we have 40 SZNs (year 10):
- SZNs 40, 39, 38, 37, 1 accrue at 0.05 (for everyone)
- SZNs 2 to 36 accrue at 0.75/35 = 0.021"
