punk6529 Memes-Chat #195436 2025-07-19 10:22
it is all 100% knowable
punk6529 Memes-Chat #195435 2025-07-19 10:22
sorry TDH generating capacity
punk6529 Memes-Chat #195434 2025-07-19 10:22
and each mint generates X more Memes Generating capacity
punk6529 Memes-Chat #195433 2025-07-19 10:22
The Memes will mint 3x a week forever
punk6529 Memes-Chat #195432 2025-07-19 10:22
Gradients are done, fixed
punk6529 Memes-Chat #195431 2025-07-19 10:22
I am going to ignore Pebbles for a moment for simplicity
punk6529 Memes-Chat #195430 2025-07-19 10:21
let's say we have a base TDH that comes from The Memes and Gradients
punk6529 Memes-Chat #195429 2025-07-19 10:21
is the following
punk6529 Memes-Chat #195428 2025-07-19 10:21
in that it allows for maximum future flexibility + decentralization and experimentation + still has a hard cap
punk6529 Memes-Chat #195427 2025-07-19 10:21
but it strikes me as the right general direction
punk6529 Memes-Chat #195424 2025-07-19 10:20
and not 100% thought out yet
punk6529 Memes-Chat #195423 2025-07-19 10:20
which is a bit ambitious
punk6529 Memes-Chat #195422 2025-07-19 10:20
so the general approach I am thinking of
punk6529 Memes-Chat #195421 2025-07-19 10:20
also, I want to use the things that are not the memes to experiment a bit more
punk6529 Memes-Chat #195419 2025-07-19 10:20
so any fixed formula we have of "this is how TDH is allocated beyond the memes" seems like it will break
punk6529 Memes-Chat #195418 2025-07-19 10:19
we have no idea where the next 5, 10, 20 years might take us right?
punk6529 Memes-Chat #195415 2025-07-19 10:19
new blockchains, new L1s, new L2s
punk6529 Memes-Chat #195414 2025-07-19 10:19
what might happen in the long-term?
punk6529 Memes-Chat #195413 2025-07-19 10:19
the challenge is building something that is flexible for the long-term
punk6529 Memes-Chat #195412 2025-07-19 10:18
it is (along with ZKP) the last thing I have yet to solve
punk6529 Memes-Chat Reply #195411 2025-07-19 10:18
so here is how I am thinking about it
punk6529 Maybe's Dive Bar #195409 2025-07-19 10:18
we effectively have our own namespace now
punk6529 Maybe's Dive Bar Reply #195407 2025-07-19 10:17
well they can subscribe
punk6529 Memes-Chat #195406 2025-07-19 10:16
but the amount of new TDH creatable per week is the same
punk6529 Memes-Chat #195405 2025-07-19 10:16
and if we are large, we can expand to accommodate more people
punk6529 Memes-Chat #195404 2025-07-19 10:16
now that we are small we can run small editions
punk6529 Memes-Chat #195403 2025-07-19 10:16
this is the magic IMHO
punk6529 Memes-Chat Reply #195402 2025-07-19 10:16
since TDH/card (aka per drop) is FirstGM/edition size, total TDH creatable is indifferent to edition size, right?
punk6529 Memes-Chat Reply #195400 2025-07-19 10:15
2 thoughts here: 1/ compared to what? I think I understand art reasonably well and it is not like what I have seen minted anywhere else is somehow "better" 2/ stream will resolve this test. 1% of TDH or something like that (which 1 big collector can do) gets one into the 1/1 contract so we will see then this question in final form
punk6529 Memes-Chat Reply #195392 2025-07-19 10:13
for now the next priority is to get Stream (1/1) minting up
punk6529 Memes-Chat Reply #195391 2025-07-19 10:12
once we go full protocol, we need to be able to say something like this: 1) TDH across the network from each year from now until infinity: a) maximum of X b) actual maximum of <X (because lots of potential TDH has been burnt) c) is growing at Y% per year which I think will be single digits by the 2030s 2) if we have a token for transactions, gas, etc that should be hard capped
punk6529 Memes-Chat #195385 2025-07-19 10:10
something like manifold but within the 6529 context, maybe at a later stage
punk6529 Memes-Chat #195384 2025-07-19 10:10
if so, this is not a priority
punk6529 Memes-Chat Reply #195383 2025-07-19 10:10
still don't understand. something like opensea?
punk6529 Memes-Chat Reply #195382 2025-07-19 10:10
it will work out fine
punk6529 Memes-Chat Reply #195379 2025-07-19 10:09
list or mint?
punk6529 Memes-Chat #195378 2025-07-19 10:09
but that is something different
punk6529 Memes-Chat #195376 2025-07-19 10:09
a lot of people submitted crappy 1/1 work
punk6529 Memes-Chat #195373 2025-07-19 10:08
for any level of fame
punk6529 Memes-Chat Reply #195372 2025-07-19 10:08
maybe, dunno. for 10 SZNs, I do not think I had spectacular art work I turned away
punk6529 Memes-Chat #195368 2025-07-19 10:08
do you mean something like manifold?
punk6529 Memes-Chat Reply #195366 2025-07-19 10:07
what do you mean by markets?
punk6529 Memes-Chat #195365 2025-07-19 10:07
so I think this is all a bit fake news
punk6529 Memes-Chat #195363 2025-07-19 10:07
I have not turned down a single "fantastic art NFT" for the memes in the centralized curation era
punk6529 Memes-Chat #195361 2025-07-19 10:07
and those who drop a nice one but not sufficiently impressive will end up into stream
punk6529 Memes-Chat #195359 2025-07-19 10:06
will easily get voted into the memes
punk6529 Memes-Chat #195358 2025-07-19 10:06
people who drop a sufficiently impressive art NFT
punk6529 Memes-Chat Reply #195357 2025-07-19 10:06
look at ixshell card
punk6529 Memes-Chat #195355 2025-07-19 10:06
2/ second mega point: While TDH has inflation: a) the total amount of theoretical TDH is knowable (if you have 3 drops a week forever, the total amount of TDH that can be created has a ceiling) b) TDH inflation runs at below BTC levels I think (I need to check) c) any TDH for things that are not The Memes on ETH mainnet has to have some linkage and ceiling relating to a)
