an individual developer can maybe do 5 things at a time

so obviously the existing circa 20 years ago state of the art of software management is not "we can do 5 things at a time"

someone at Microsoft is in charge of 20,000 developers

it is amazing that they built windows with less than 5 people

yes, in fact, a little known fact about software development is that Microsoft and Google never were able to successful deploy more than three (3) developers at a time

i can summarize in 1 sentence what the difference is which makes sense what prior background is: they are optimizing their personal productivity as developers; I am a CEO and thinking "oh, great, I have a whole team of developers to organize"

if one agentic thread can do X, is there something a 2nd one can do at the same time, what about a 3rd, 4th, 5th, 10th, 15th

bc I am way more aggressive in collapsing the time from the future to the present
